Toshiba 40XF550U 40 inch Cinema Series LCD HDTV review

Toshiba 40XF550U 40" Cinema Series LCD HDTV

Some of the reasons why I bought my Toshiba 40XF550U 40" Cinema Series LCD HDTV last month include its perfect size, its use of advanced technology and the reputed branded company which has manufactured it. While big is always better, it is the only 40 inch TV in the market the width of which can be compared to a 37 inch TV. Some of the best features of this television include resolution of 1080 pixels, frame rate of 120 hz and 5.5 pull down along with a ten bit panel. The TV has a long list of excellent features and all of them are really impressive. The quality of the panel is extremely high and there are no stuck or dead pixels. Good colors, black levels and excellent picture, it is just perfect in HD. Till now, I have not noticed any banding, motion blur or ghosting in my TV screen which are quite common in large screens. This TV is able to struggle with the weak analog broadcasting signals and generate grainy pictures. Its digital tuner is just fine and a normal UHF antenna is just adequate. As there is some reception problem in my locality, I have added a signal amplifier to solve the issue. The audio quality is also good and if you want to mute it, you have two options, full mute and half mute. It perfectly matches my interior décor as it has a shiny thin black frame with stainless band on the outer edge.
